Meet the Staff of Forest Lakes Veterinary Clinic in Charlottesville, VA

Ed Duval, DVM:
Dr. Ed Duval has been a practicing veterinarian in the Charlottesville area, since 1996. Opening Forest Lakes Veterinary Clinic in 2001 helped him realize a dream to serve the needs of area pets and the great people that own them. His interests include all the diverse areas of small animal veterinary medicine and surgery.

The Drs. Duval stay busy attending the school and sport events of their three children. They are active members of Buck Mountain Episcopal Church. In his spare time, Dr. Ed enjoys trail running and both mountain and road cycling. He is an avid fan of UVA Sports throughout the year.

Catherine Duval, DVM:
Dr. Catherine Duval graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. Dr. Duval is a 1983 graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Elementary Education. In 1989, Dr. Duval received an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology from Essex Community College in Maryland. While pursuing a Master's degree in Molecular Biology at Johns Hopkins University and working as a Laboratory Research Technician at the Asthma and Allergy Center, Dr. Duval applied to the VMRCVM in 1992 to fulfill a dream of being a Veterinarian, similar to her Great Grandfather, Dr. Thomas Packwood of Brown City, Michigan. Dr. Cathy Duval's veterinary interests include Dentistry, Dermatology, Preventative Medicine and Client Education. Dr. Duval has a special interest in helping her clients and their pets through the various stages and the challenges they may encounter. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Cathy enjoys spending time with her daughter Geneva and her twin boys, Gordon and Alex. Dr. Duval also enjoys being outdoors riding her horse Titan, camping and kayaking on the river with friends. The Duvals have recently welcomed a Parakeet and a Corn Snake to their family of pets that also include Harley, lab rescue and Max the cat.
Toni Moore
Toni Moore is Our LVT, She has been caring for our patients and their families since 2015. She graduated from York Technical Institute and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2016. She currently has a cat named Indy that rules her life and a bearded dragon, Lexa. When she’s not working, Toni enjoys movies, music, arts & crafts, and road-tripping to Pennsylvania to visit family.
Geannie Wright
Geannie Wright has been at FLVC since 2014. She is an Office Manager/Vet Assistant. Most of her background has been in the Nursing field. She has volunteered at a few animal shelters and is overjoyed to be living her life-long dream of working with animals! When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Dwayne, her daughter Adreanna, and her two "fur-baby" cats, Jsa Jsa and Bubba.
Chelsea Payne
Chelsea has been working at Forest Lakes Veterinary Clinic since 2015. She is a Receptionist/Vet Assistant. She has always wanted to work with animals, and started her career working in a kennel. She is currently in school at Blue Ridge Community College. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, her dog, and her cat. She also has a rabbit, guinea pigs, and fish living at home.
Jennifer Chillemi
Jennifer Chillemi has been with FLVC since 2016. She is a Vet Assistant/Receptionist. She has been an animal lover all of her life and always wanted to help them in anyway she could. When she's not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, three kids Alex, Ava and Ayden as well as her fur baby Remington. Her motto is: It's not work if You do what You love!
Brittnee Farmer
Brittnee Farmer has been working at FLVC since 2016. She is a Receptionist/ Vet Assistant. She has always loved being around animals and started her career working in a Pet Salon. In addition to her two dogs, Camo and Sadie Lou, she also has a horse named Pepper; she has also had donkeys and goats. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, this includes her fur babies of course, riding 4 wheelers, and going to the beach.
